I Swim in an Ocean of Love

Myriads of thought flow through my unrest mind,
Like a turbulent sea awaiting rest.
The whole wide world screams the word 'love is blind';
Then, I journey to decipher the quest.

The yellowish fleeting cloud reminds me
Of her keened skin, radiating like the sun.
Sting of love pierces my skin like bee
Bites; feasting on careless mankind for fun.

I beckon at the sun to illumine
The mirage that stands in the stagnant sea.
My heart lingers for her beauty to be mine
And her glowing face, I desire to see.

Lonely, deserted like an arid man
Who gyrates alone amidst calm whirlwind.
Life is an empty sheet, only you can
Write on the platter of gold of my mind.

You seem to exist like an illusion
To the world, but in my eyes; you're real.
